We begin the process by having a phone call to discuss general details, time frames and pricing. We follow up with an online form to gather additional project details. Then we schedule a complimentary initial consultation to review your project specifically and determine if Lace Designs is the right fit for you.
Initial Discussion & Consultation
After the initial consultation, we prepare an agreement for you to sign digitally and collect a deposit. Your timeline begins once we receive the signed agreement.
Signing the Agreement
During our first phase, we discuss inspiration, explore exterior elevations, and the style(s) you prefer.
Step 1 - Sketching ideas and room adjacencies
Step 2 - Working up floor plan layouts and drafting front elevation options
Schematic Phase
This is the main phase for making all of the design decisions.
Step 1 - Refining/detailing the floor plan, working up exterior elevations and 3D drawings
Step 2 - Creating interior detail drawings and features, discussing accent walls, ceiling treatments, etc.
Step 3 - Going over lighting, power & switching, etc.
Design Development
This phase is for finalizing, dimensioning, detailing and signing off on all plans to prepare for construction and/or bidding. At this point, all of the "buildable" drawings come into play such as building sections, cabinet/millwork drawings and plan notations.

Custom Homes
Lace Designs creates fully customized house plans that cater to each specific client's wants and needs. This allows the client's personality to get exposed through the design. If you are interested in a craftsman bungalow, a contemporary loft, a rustic ranch house, or anything in between, Lace Designs can create the perfect home for you.
Remodeling
If you are hoping to add a new man cave, or upgrade to a new gourmet kitchen or luxury spa bathroom, look no further than Lace Designs. Remodeling or reconfiguring an existing building allows you to create the look you want from the space you have. Lace Designs can assist with your remodel drawings and planning.
RENDERINGS
As an additional service, Lace Designs creates 3D realistic images or renderings to help clients better visualize their designs and bring the drawings to life. The renderings can add texture, colors, shadows, etc and includes a round of revisions to give the client input into the overall look and feel.
Finishes
Lace Designs can work with you to choose the selections of material finishes such as rock, tile, paint and more. We can also assist with all the fixtures and equipment needed to outfit your space to coordinate your desired look seamlessly through your build or remodel.
Commercial
Lace Designs aides our commercial clients through the full process from schematic concepts to construction administration. Each individual business receives custom concepts to meet their needs. Lace Designs will also assist with city and state submissions, permitting and consultant coordination.
E-DESIGN/CONSULTS
E-design is a virtual interior design service that is a budget-friendly design opinion for those DIY enthusiasts that just need design direction or a second opinion. All communication is done through email, phone or virtual meeting, and we assist the client with ideas and suggestions that the client then implements.
